Our Mission
We are relentlessly committed to keeping families together and transforming lives through evidence-informed care. Every person deserves access to compassionate, effective, and measurable behavioral health services. Our work is never done if there are people in need — and we exist to meet that need with excellence, urgency, and integrity.
Behavioral health is a field built on purpose. The clinicians, counselors, social workers, and direct care professionals who enter it aren’t simply looking for a paycheck – they’re driven by a belief that every person deserves the opportunity to heal, grow, and thrive.
But purpose alone doesn’t sustain a career. The organizations that attract and keep the best talent understand something important: if you want your people to pour themselves into the mission, you have to pour back into them.
At Health Connect America, that’s not a tagline – it’s the foundation of how we operate. Our Employee Value Proposition is organized around three commitments to every team member: Grow With Us, Be Well With Us, and You Belong With Us. Here’s what those commitments look like in practice.
Grow With Us – We Invest in You
A Career Path With Real Runway
At Health Connect America, professional development isn’t a vague promise — it’s a structured reality. Whether you’re stepping into your first clinical role, working toward licensure, or setting your sights on a leadership position, we provide clear pathways and genuine support to help you get there.
Our career development framework spans every level, from entry-level direct care roles to senior clinical and operational leadership. Team members are supported through mentorship, collaborative program teams, and coaching that meets them where they are.
Licensure Support That Goes the Distance
Earning your license is one of the most significant milestones in a behavioral health career — and one of the most demanding. Health Connect America’s structured supervision pathway is designed to make that journey more manageable and more meaningful.
Supervisees receive collegial support to navigate licensure requirements, manage self-care, and work through ethical and professional challenges. Supervisors share clinical expertise, facilitate case staffing on complex situations, and conduct competency assessments that prepare staff for licensure readiness with confidence.
Education That Keeps Paying Off
Health Connect America is committed to lifelong learning. Our Implementation and Development Team provides live, ongoing training opportunities that qualify for both NBCC-Approved and ASWB-Approved Continuing Education (CE) credits — supporting professional growth across disciplines while meeting licensure renewal requirements.
For employees pursuing or considering additional education, our partnership with Capella University offers real financial value: a $6,000 scholarship, a 10% tuition discount, and additional savings based on prior learning. Capella’s flexible online programs make it possible to advance academically without stepping back from the work you love.
Evidence-Informed Certifications
Health Connect America offers certifications in Family Centered Treatment and Fostering Solutions — evidence-informed models that represent our dedication to best practices in the field. These credentials signal clinical credibility and equip professionals to deliver care that is both grounded in research and genuinely responsive to the families we serve.
“I enjoy seeing growth of leadership and knowing that because Health Connect America believes in building upon their strengths, their potential within this company is limitless.” — Julie, Regional Director of Operations
Be Well With Us – Fulfilling Our Mission Starts With Caring for You
Health and Financial Benefits Built for Real Life
Health Connect America offers flexible medical coverage options — including an Open Network plan and a PPO plan — giving employees the freedom to choose providers that work best for their needs and their families. To help offset healthcare costs, Health Connect America contributes $600 annually to a Health Savings Account (HSA) for eligible employees.
Employees may also enroll in a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, allowing pre-tax contributions of up to $5,000 annually to cover eligible care expenses. Those enrolled in a medical plan have access to Health Navigator, a confidential resource that provides objective, personalized guidance for navigating healthcare decisions.
Time to Rest and Recharge
Full-time employees accrue ten days of paid time off during their first year, with the ability to carry over up to 40 hours annually. After two years of service, that grows to 15 days per year, capped at 20. Excess unused PTO flows into an Extended Leave Bank — available for qualifying leave events, up to 240 hours.
Full-time employees also receive six paid holidays, plus two flexible personal holidays to use for celebrations and observances that matter to them individually.
Support When It Matters Most
Health Connect America’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available to all active employees — both full-time and part-time — at no cost. It provides confidential support for a wide range of personal and work-life needs, including counseling, mental health support, and everyday life resources. Employees and eligible household members can access up to eight sessions per issue, making meaningful support available when it’s needed most.
Perks That Stretch Your Dollar
Through BenefitHub and Tickets at Work, Health Connect America employees gain access to thousands of discounts on travel, entertainment, retail, and everyday essentials — a practical, year-round benefit that supports overall financial well-being.

You Belong With Us — Respected, Included, and Heard Every Day
A Culture Where Every Voice Matters
Health Connect America is committed to building a workplace where every team member can show up as their full, authentic self. We believe our collective strength lives in the diversity of our people — their experiences, their backgrounds, their perspectives.
As our organization continues to grow and evolve, we actively seek input from employees at every level. Feedback, suggestions, and innovation aren’t just welcomed — they’re genuinely valued as part of how we shape our future.
Recognition That Goes Beyond a Thank-You
Through our PROPS peer recognition program, team members can celebrate one another’s contributions in real time — acknowledging exceptional performance and the everyday actions that bring Health Connect America’s mission, values, and leadership behaviors to life. At Health Connect America, being seen isn’t reserved for annual reviews; it’s woven into how we work together.
Connection Beyond the Workday
Health Connect America cultivates a strong sense of community through ESG workforce initiatives and our Month of Giving — a flexible, team-driven initiative that gives every group the freedom to choose how and when they give back.
Whether volunteering locally, supporting a cause close to their community, or simply showing up for one another, teams across Health Connect America bring the mission to life in ways that are meaningful to them.
Health Connect America also offers employee referral programs designed to encourage team members to introduce candidates and foster parents who share our commitment to making a difference — because the people who know Health Connect America best are often the best advocates for it.
