An evidence-based and well-supported trauma-informed treatment model of home-based family service. The primary utilization of this service is for stabilization of the family, prevention of removal from the home, and reunification should a youth be placed in foster/kin/congregate care. Designed to increase family health and well-being, promote attachment and resiliency, and develop functional solutions for maladaptive patterns. Includes 24-hour staff availability. Assigned practitioners are assigned no more than four families. Length of service is no more than six months.

Clinical observation by an LMHP or LMHP-R of a classroom where the teacher has noted difficulty in managing specific students. Recommendations will be provided to the Head Start Supervisor of classroom management for each identified student.

Designed for children and adolescents at risk for removal from the home due to behavioral, mental health, and/or substance abuse challenges. May be used to reunite a family when a child has been in an out-of-home placement. Services also include 24-hour emergency response.

Our highly trained professionals are able to see clients who are in need a psychiatric assessment, psychiatric medication management and those who are in need of detox medications when enrolled in our Substance Use Treatment Services.

Outpatient mental health services offer support and treatment to individuals who are experiencing mental health symptoms. We can also help our clients with co-occurring disorders. This program is created to be strength-focused and recovery-oriented. We offer a comprehensive range of flexible and responsive interventions tailored to the client and their family’s needs.

Our compassionate clinical staff evaluates and treats the effects of mental health and co-occurring symptoms that impair an individual’s ability to function. Through personalized treatment, the goal of this program is to empower clients in their recovery using short-term, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approaches. We offer treatment for children, adolescents, and adults for the following conditions, in addition to many others:

  • ADHD
  • Grief
  • Anger Management
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Oppositional Defiance Disorder
  • Attachment Disorder
  • Trauma
  • Sexual & Physical Abuse

Our clinical staff utilizes cognitive/behavioral approaches and other therapeutic services to teach families new skills so that the client/family can more effectively manage their lives.

Private day school serving special education students K-12. Licensed by Virginia Department of Education.

Locations: Augusta (Verona), Caroline, Charlottesville, Culpeper

Provides adolescents and adults experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health issues find hope and healing. Strength-focused and recovery-oriented. Services provided multiple times per week and are designed to prevent higher levels of care, help sustain long-term sobriety, mental health and support clients remain in their permanent homes and environment. Service delivery is through our outpatient program (OP) as well as our intensive-outpatient program (IOP), which range from one to nineteen hours per week, depending on need. Provided through individual, family and group modalities. Case management services are also available.

A medically necessary treatment for children with adverse childhood experiences, as well as emotional, behavioral, medical, or developmental needs, providing structured treatment within a therapeutic foster care setting. This program promotes well-being, family connections, and community integration. Therapeutic foster care includes compassionate and professional staff who support the foster families and youth by providing a range of services including:

  • Supervision.
  • 24-hour staff availability.
  • Coordination of medical treatment when necessary.
  • Foster parent training in behavior management and various treatment approaches.

Locations: Alexandria, Richmond, Roanoke, Tidewater and surrounding localities

Offers support and treatment to school-aged children under the age of 21. Focus on life-skills proficiency, anger management, social skills training, leadership, and academic support. Our mentors provide one-on-one, personalized support and are equipped to work with special needs populations, including those with autism spectrum disorders.
