Crisis response is an intensive outpatient service that allows staff intervention for a child or adult in crisis due to mental health or substance use issues. Health Connect America offers these services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our trained professionals focus on helping individuals deal with their immediate crisis. Mississippi Youth Programs Around the Clock is a home and community-based program for children and youth, up to age 21, with Serious Emotional Disturbance. MYPAC utilizes Wraparound facilitation, a youth-guided, family-driven planning process. MYPAC provides an array of services, as an alternative to residential treatment, with the goal of keeping the youth in their community.

Offers support and treatment to individuals who are experiencing mental health symptoms.

Person-centered activities with a rehabilitation and recovery focus for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Our program is designed to help reduce challenges to recovery and to direct the recovery process. We encourage clients to utilize their natural resources, which enhance community living skills.

Provides clients with a psychiatric assessment and medication management.

The focus of this service is to minimize the negative effects of behavioral health disorders. Our service aims to maximize the person’s ability to function and to be an integral part of the community. This recovery-based program provides skill building, peer support, and other supports and services to help adults with severe and persistent mental illness. The goals of the program include:

  • Reducing symptoms.
  • Achieving optimal levels of community involvement.
  • Increasing satisfaction with their living environment.
  • Restoring and enhancing their personal, social, and vocational capabilities.

Helps adolescents and adults experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health issues find hope and healing. Strength-focused and recovery-oriented. Services are provided multiple times per week and are designed to prevent higher levels of care, help sustain long-term sobriety, mental health, and support clients remaining in their homes and community. Service delivery is through our outpatient program (OP) as well as our intensive-outpatient program (IOP), which range from one to 19 hours per week, depending on need. Provided through individual, family, and group modalities. Case management services are also available.

Therapeutic day treatment serves students with serious emotional and behavioral needs with daily support. Our professional direct care team members use a combination of trauma-informed psychotherapeutic interventions, education, and mental health treatment to improve their level of functioning in the classroom and major life activities. Our team members are present throughout the school day to provide individual and family counseling, groups, medication education and management.

A medically necessary treatment for children with adverse childhood experiences, as well as emotional, behavioral, medical, or developmental needs, providing structured treatment within a therapeutic foster care setting. This program promotes well-being, family connections, and community integration. Therapeutic foster care includes compassionate and professional staff who support the foster families and youth by providing a range of services including:

  • Supervision.
  • 24-hour staff availability.
  • Coordination of medical treatment when necessary.
  • Foster parent training in behavior management and various treatment approaches.

Wraparound is an approach to individualized care planning encompassing the concept of wrapping services and supports around children, youth, and families while utilizing both clinical treatment services and natural supports. This service is built on the collective action of a committed group of family, friends, community, professionals, and cross-system supports mobilizing resources and talents from various sources. The result is the development of an Individualized Support Plan that is the best fit between the family and client vision and story, strengths, needs, team mission, and strategies.with the goal of keeping the youth in their community.
