Our Approach

We offer a fresh, innovative approach to treatment. With each case, our caseworkers at Health Connect America understand the importance of personalized service, combined with addressing the multiple needs of the family. We provide equal treatment for clients with co-occurring substance abuse and mental health issues.

We provide face-to-face support, counseling, and coordination with the family, as well as behavioral, emotional and educational support. Ideally, the support and services will be provided in the child’s home, or identified permanency person’s home. Our staff uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Therapy (RET) as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). We have staff specifically trained to address issues such as substance abuse, sexual behavior problems, domestic violence and trauma related behaviors. We implement the intensity of care and modality required for the child and family to be successfully reunified, or to prevent the removal of children from their homes.

Our Health Connect America caseworkers provide casework support for the referral source Case Manager, seeing the family throughout the support period. Services are flexible and meet the needs and schedules of the child and family.
